About UsThe Collaborative Leadership Web siteThe Collaborative Leadership Web site is a product of Turning Point and its Leadership Development National Excellence Collaborative. Purpose of this Web site is to act as a gateway to additional information and products to support participants and trainers in their journey toward becoming more effective collaborative leaders. The website is maintained by the National Public Health Leadership Development Network (NLN) at Saint Louis University. The NLN also distributes the Collaborative Leadership curriculum materials. Turning PointThe Turning Point Program, which ran from 1997 to 2006, was funded by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Its mission was to transform and strengthen the public health system in the United States by making it more community-based and collaborative. Turning Point created a network of public health partners in 23 states, as well as five national collaboratives, including the Leadership Development National Excellence Collaborative, to work on specific public health issues. The Leadership Development National Excellence CollaborativeThe Turning Point Leadership Development National Excellence Collaborative is a partnership of local, state, and national public health organizations working to increase collaborative leadership capacity at all levels of public health practice. The Collaborative was created in 1999 by the Turning Point Initiative. The work and products of the collaborative are funded by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
